It's the beautiful manga version of the anime series
that everyone and their dog knows about. Neon Genesis Evangelion is a
wonderful anime, but the manga is often overlooked. In fact, I bet a
bunch of you didn't know that a manga version even existed, hmm? Well,
it does. And the drawings are great. So I'm here as the chosen scanner
to guide you.
If you don't know what Evangelion about, you've been missing out on a lot, haven't you? EVA is too complicated of an
anime to summarize well, so I'll just give a little intro. Shinji is a
normal boy who has a self-worth problem and doesn't care for his life
all that much. He's been living with a teacher until he was
called to Tokyo 3 by his father, who he hasn't seen in a long time. It turns
out that his father, part of a secret organization called NERV, only needs him to pilot
a huge mecha known as the EVA to save the whole
world from the beasts known as Angels. Things spin completely out
of Shinji's hands as he eventually becomes weaved into the plans of NERV and the
fate of mankind.
