Kodomo no Omocha is a crazily funny, insane, and hyperactive series focusing on Kurata Sana, a child idol. She's an extremely popular actress in Japan but has some issues with her classroom at school. The boys are run by a guy named Hayama Akito, and they constantly wreak havoc and bully the teachers. It turns out Hayama has blackmailed the teachers so they can't do anything about his reign. Sana takes it upon herself to stop Hayama, getting closer to him and learning more about his troubled childhood in the meantime.

This is a great series with awesome characters and, though the main characters are in 5th grade and are eleven years old at the beginning of the series, there's a surprising amount of depth among the insane comedy. It follows the relationship between Sana, Hayama, and the rest of their friends, and makes up quite a long series, the anime counterpart running for more than a hundred episodes.
